Encinitas has its own style, and it’s welcome in the studio. If yours leans softer and less glam than a classic boudoir set, think loose hair, lighter makeup, a linen shirt, a bralette, bare feet.

That works beautifully. My hair and makeup artist can go as natural or as editorial as you like, and the studio wardrobe runs from simple cotton and lace to full corsets. If your style is more beach walk than red carpet, bring the pieces you actually live in. The photos will feel like you on your best day, not like someone else’s idea of boudoir.

We shoot boudoir sessions for clients throughout Encinitas: Swami’s, Moonlight Beach, Cardiff-by-the-Sea and Leucadia are all about 15 to 20 minutes from our Carlsbad studio. It’s an easy trip up the coast.

That changes how a session fits into your life. You don’t need to take a whole day off: a morning session can be finished by early afternoon, so it fits around school drop-off or a half day at work. There’s a free parking lot and street parking outside the studio, so there’s no circling the block with a robe bag.

How long is the drive from Encinitas to the studio?

About 15 to 20 minutes from most of Encinitas, including Leucadia, Cardiff-by-the-Sea and New Encinitas. Take the I-5 north or Coast Highway 101, depending on traffic.

Is there parking at the studio?

Yes. There’s a free parking lot and free street parking right outside, and the entrance, parking and restroom are all wheelchair accessible.

Can I bring my own clothes instead of using the wardrobe?

Absolutely. Bring an everyday piece you love, like a favourite shirt or a simple bralette. You can mix your own pieces with anything from the studio wardrobe.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks out, especially around spring and the holiday season when sessions book up quickly. Sometimes we get last minute cancellations, it’s always worth giving us a call.
