Between the beach, the bluffs and the coastal venues, Del Mar hosts a lot of weddings. If yours is one of them, bridal boudoir is a lovely way to mark the countdown.

Bridal boudoir works best with a little lead time. Most brides book 8 to 10 weeks before the wedding. That leaves about two weeks for retouching and six to eight weeks for a handcrafted Italian album, so it’s ready to give on the morning of the wedding if it’s a gift. Book closer than that and it’s still worth asking: short-notice dates do open up.

It’s a straightforward, roughly 20-25 minutes drive up the coast to our Carlsbad studio, and plenty of Del Mar clients pair their session with a coffee run through the Village on the way home.

Yes. We regularly shoot boudoir sessions for clients from Del Mar, including the Village, Del Mar Heights, and the surrounding area.
Yes, your final images will be retouched. We do not reshape bodies or use AI-generated or AI-altered imagery in any client work. Editing is limited to color, lighting, and skin tone consistency, skin blemishes … so your gallery looks like you, but the best version of you.
Not at all, that is exactly what we are here for. Expert posing and coaching is a core part of every session. Our photographer guides you into every pose, angle, and expression to highlight your best features. You never have to wonder what to do with your hands, your eyes, or your body. Most of our clients arrive nervous and leave feeling like they were born to be photographed.
You don’t need to buy anything in advance. Our studio wardrobe collection covers a full range of styles and sizes, and we help you choose pieces during your pre-session consultation.
We recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks out, especially around spring and the holiday season when sessions book up quickly. Sometimes we get last minute cancellations, it’s always worth giving us a call.
